Our Founder
Established on July 10, 2010, Jonathan Wesley Furniture was a long-time dream for founder Tim Shook. He started his career in the furniture industry more than 44 years ago when he started out at Taylor King Furniture and then with Bently Church Hill before branching out on his own with Jonathan Wesley. He has enjoyed a distinguished career working with some of North Carolina’s largest manufacturers of high-quality upholstery and upholstered fabric vendors. Backed with extensive experience and knowledge – plus a passion for furniture making – Tim turned his dream into a reality and shifted his focus to crafting unique, fashion-forward furniture pieces designed for comfort, quality and value, you dream it we build it.
Our Mission
With years of experience and an unwavering passion for furniture, hand-crafted quality is in our DNA. Each piece of Jonathan Wesley-made furniture is meticulously hand-cut, sewn and bench-made to our customer’s unique specifications. We are proud of the furniture we craft and distribute to fine retailers, design boutiques and private label dealers, domestically and internationally.

Our Home
Our company is located in Taylorsville, N.C., a small, scenic town nestled in the foothills of the Brushy Mountains, just 30 miles north of Hickory. Offering heritage, history and charm, this area sits in the heart of America’s furniture manufacturing and has been home for generations to some of the industry’s finest furniture craftsmen whom we employ.
